once upon a time in paradise

Bellarocca is an island resort and spa located in the heart of the Philippines, Marinduque. I am a proud Marinduqueña! Marinduque is our very own little paradise. I grew up and studied elementary and high school there. Growing up in a small province like Marinduque was incredibly fun! Though we don't have malls or any huge shopping center just like in any other provinces, small boutiques and tiangge are very much appreciated by us.  We were contented on what we have and i am very proud to say that Marinduque was listed as one of the safe provinces to visit here in our country. We are indeed living in a very simple way.

Courtesy of Net Essentials, i've had a privilege to visit one of the most sought after sites today. Inspired by the design of Santorini Greece, Bellarocca is something to be really proud of by Marinduqueños like me.

With a group of 35 persons, we went to Bellarocca just last Nov 9-11 and i can honestly say that it's the best place that I've been to in my 22 years of existence. :D It's just so perfect and it seems like you don't wanna leave and just spend the rest of your life in that island. We arrived in Marinduque Airport at exactly 9:40 in the morning and picked up by Bellarocca's waiting vans to go to Brgy. Lipata Buenavista which is 5 minutes ride via speedboat to Bellarocca Island. We were welcomed by friendly beaming faces of Bellarocca's staff and they did the traditional "Putong" to us.

After eating our late breakfast, we headed to our designated room. Ours was a deluxe room and mind you, it's their cheapest room! cost? $420/PER NIGHT. We're really living a luxurious life there!

After taking a quick nap, we started checking the area.

The resort's facility includes 10 private villas, 30 hotel rooms (deluxe rooms, junior suites and 1-bedroom suites), food and beverage outlets and water sports activities and tours.

Seaside Pavilion Eternity Pool with Sunken Bar facing enormous Mt. Malindig
Natural Hot Spring Swimming Pool
Meditation Sanctuary with Pilates and Yoga Instructors
Tea House with uninterrupted view of the ocean
Picnic grove at the top of the island. You can get there through their 299 steps attraction.
Seaside Cafe and Marina where you can enjoy snorkeling.
Rejuvenating Spa services at the Hillside Spa Room
Helipad
Golf Course

Among the other activities that you could try are the kayaking, wind surfing, banana boat, snorkeling and other aqua sports.

Hotel facilities include fine dining restaurant, Piano Lounge, lap pool for swimmers and deck beds for sun worshipers. Bellarocca is also perfect for photoshoots like weddings or magazine covers.
